Where stories are celebrated, and connections are made.

For ages 55+

Join D’Vorah Dance Arts, in the first-ever Moving Stories workshop! We invite you to share meaningful life moments in a welcoming, creative space where stories are celebrated, and connections are made.

In partnership with the Wake Forest Center for Active Aging, D’Vorah Dance Arts will offer this two-month workshop series, in which participants will reflect, write, move, and create alongside professional dancers and choreographers.

Through gentle guided writing and movement activities, participants will explore memories of change, resilience, and transformation. No dance experience is needed, and all physical abilities are welcome. Each person’s story, whether humorous, heartfelt, simple, or profound, will help inspire original movement and a collaborative performance.

The series will conclude with a free community performance on

November 7, 2026 at the Community House in Wake Forest.

September 8th, 2026  through October 27th, 2026

Every Tuesday 10:00am-11:30am
